How to Join
New Zion Missionary Baptist Church is a body of believers united by our desire to follow Jesus Christ and committed to fulfilling the Great Commission. If you desire to join with us and will be supportive of the beliefs, fellowship, and mission of our church, we invite you to become a member. Here are the steps to becoming a member:
- Present yourself for membership during any Worship Service when the invitation is given at the end of the message. (Our pastor will invite those who desire to become members to come forward. A minister will greet you and introduce you to a friend who will accompany you to a quieter place where you will be guided in your decision.)
- Express your desire to unite with the Church through one of the following means:
Baptism - You have never been saved and you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. You are willing to be baptized in much water by immersion.
Letter - You are already a member of a church in good standing, and having been led by the Holy Spirit, you wish to transfer your membership by letter.
Christian Experience - You are saved and have been baptized, but you are presently not in good standing or fellowship with any church. And having been led by the Holy Spirit, you now wish to become a member of this church on your Christian experience.
Watch Care - You will be living in our area 90 days or less and you wish to be accepted into this fellowship so you can participate in all activities as a regular member.
- Attend the New Member Orientation Class
After you’ve completed these steps, we will receive you as a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church and you will begin to fully enjoy the benefits and blessings of being a part of our family.
